Dr. Adams maintains a private practice in plastic surgery in Dallas, TX. In addition, he also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He is the program director of the UT Southwestern Aesthetic Fellowship.

Dr. Adams is an international authority on breast augmentation/enlargement, breast implants technology including cohesive gel implants, capsular contracture, and breast implant associated ALCL.

He also is active in educating plastic surgeons around the country on the new level of breast augmentation currently possible including a re-defined patient experience and 24 hour recovery.

He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Princeton University. He attended Vanderbilt University Medical School where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and received the prestigious award for the best graduating clinician. He completed both his general surgery and his plastic surgery residency training in the nationally renowned resident training program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. He also completed an additional year of fellowship in plastic surgery at UT Southwestern.

He is invited all over the world to speak to surgeons, industry and patients about breast augmentation and breast surgery.

Dr. Allen is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon that specializes in oncologic reconstruction with a particular focus in microsurgery. After completing his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007, he became a research fellow at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU’s Langone Medical Center. His research areas included tissue engineering, wound healing and fat grafting. At the completion of his 2-year research fellowship, Dr. Allen began his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at NYU, completing training in 2015. From there, he traveled to Taiwan to complete a fellowship in microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital under the instruction of Professors Chi-Hung Lin, Ming-Huei Cheng and Fu Chan Wei. He joined the faculty at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2016, where his areas of clinical expertise include microsurgical breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, extremity reconstruction and lymphedema.

Professor Christoph Andree attended medical school at the University of Bonn, Germany. After his postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he obtained his training in plastic and hand surgery at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany. Presently, he is head of the department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the SANA-Clinic in Düsseldorf, specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. His aesthetic clinic is located at Königsalle 88 in Düsseldorf. He has been awarded several research grants and received various honors.

Dr. Barnea is a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery and head of the plastic and reconstructive breast surgery unit at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center in Israel. He is the past secretary of the Israel society of plastic and aesthetic surgery.

Currently Dr. Barnea performs various types of breast surgeries, both aesthetic and reconstruction, and works in the breast health center, as part of the multidisciplinary breast team. He published both clinical research and basic science projects on these subjects. He is invited as faculty to numerous international plastic surgery and breast meetings.

Dr. Cordeiro is a renowned oncologic plastic surgeon with a special expertise in breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, and microsurgical procedures. Within breast reconstruction his work has focused on long and short term surgical, aesthetic and patient reported outcomes in addition to extending the use of implants for breast reconstruction, particularly in the previously irradiated patient and patients who need post mastectomy radiation.  Within head and neck he has described several defect specific classification systems with algorithms pertaining to free flap reconstruction, particularly in the area of the midface, mandible and the oropharynx.  

Dr. Cordeiro received his MD degree from Harvard Medical School, completed his general surgery training at the Harvard Surgical Service and plastic surgery at New York University. He is currently Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and served as Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2001 to 2016.

Dr. Cordeiro is the author of more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, has served on 8 editorial boards including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and Annals of Plastic Surgery and has delivered over 250 presentations and lectures around the world throughout the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgical community.

Roy de Vita has been specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, and since 2002 has been the the Chief of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department of the Cancer National Institute “Regina Elena” of Rome. He is also Coordinator of the Breast Unit of the same Institute.
His main field of clinical and scientific interest is reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery, an area in which he has widely published.
More than 600 breast surgical reconstructive procedures are performed per year in his department, including 2 stage, DTI and autologous tissue. In private practice he carries out more than 200 breast augmentations per year and 40% of these procedures are for revisional surgery.

Dr. Secondo Folli was born in Salò (BS) on 30/08/1956. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna on 13/11/1982, with grades 105/110. He passed the State Examination at the University of Bologna on the second session of 1982. He obtained at the University of Bologna the diploma of Specialist in General Surgery on 22/06/1987, with points 70/70 and praise; at the University of Ferrara the diploma of Specialist in Thoracic Surgery on 11/07/1992 with 70/70 points and praise.

Luiz F. Frascino is currently working in Portuguese Beneficent Hospital, Brazil. He has international experience on various programs, and also contributed and participated in different countries for diverse fields of study. Dr. Günter Germann was the President of the internationally renowned and largest German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. As Head of Department, Professor Dr Germann managed the Berufsgenossenschaftliche Unfallklinik in Ludwigshafen (Ludwigshafen BG Casualty Clinic), Germany, for 18 years, giving it an international reputation and  making it to one of the largest units in Europe. He is considered an excellent microsurgeon within the international arena and has been practising plastic surgery for more than 30 years. As early as 2001, Professor Germann was awarded the McCormack prize of the University of Rochester (New York) for his scientific work. He is a distinguished member of numerous scientific committees worldwide and has held the Professorship of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery at Heidelberg University since 1999. Above and beyond that, Professor German maintains a research laboratory that is primarily dedicated to the development of  applicability of

Prof.  Eyal Gur is currently chief of the plastic surgery department of The Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and the immediate past president of the Israeli Society of plastic and aesthetic surgery.

His graduated from The Sackler Medical School at The Tel Aviv University in 1990. He had his 6 years of Plastic Surgery training at The Tel Aviv Medical Center  followed by a  2 year fellowship in The University of Toronto (1995 -1997) where  he have sub-specialized in Pediatric plastic Surgery and Microsurgery.

Back in 1998 Dr Gur established The Microsurgery Unit of the Medical Center, a unit that operates today on about 4 patients per week and specializes in Head & Neck Oncology, Orthopedic Oncology, Breast reconstruction, Orthopedic trauma reconstruction and Facial Paralysis reconstruction.

Prof. Gur established  the a multidisciplinary cleft lip and palate team of the center that functions for the last 16 years and coordinates the care of most of those patients in the country. He also lead the school of continuing medical education in Plastic surgery for 5 years, He currently a professor of surgery in the Tel Aviv University.

Prof. Gur main field of clinical research is the field of facial paralysis and breast reconstruction and his basic science focus today is in the field of CTA – composite tissue  allo-transplantation and attenuation of rejection mechanism through stem cell action and  mixed-chimerism. His laboratory also investigates peripheral nerve regeneration and new advances in whole organ cryopreservation and replantation.

Prof. Gur published 5 chapters in professional books, 72 papers in the plastic surgery main peer review journals, 30 review articles and he is invited to present his studies and experience in national and international conferences.

Prof. Gur also runs a busy aesthetic surgery practice that mainly focuses on facial aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Per Hedén is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at KarolinskaInstitutet in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the pioneer in establishing microsurgical procedures in the Stockholm region in the beginning of the 1980´s and has still a profound interest in reconstructive surgery and a special interest in facial paralysis reanimations.  Dr Hedén is also the Founder and Head of Akademikliniken, which is now Europe’s largest private hospital exclusively for plastic surgery: the main hospital in Stockholm has 9 operating theaters and 34 overnight beds. Akademikliniken also have several smaller hospitals in Copenhagen, Malmoe , Gothenburg and Oslo. In addition to this, a number of “Walk in Clinics” are scattered throughout the Nordic countries. In total  Akademikliniken today has 25 different units staffed by 22 plastic surgeons, along with anesthesiologists and nurses. Skin therapy departments, with skin therapists and dermatologist, are also part of the hospital group. More than 5000 surgical procedures are performed at Akademikliniken in Stockholm alone every year. In addition to this, more than 50.000 non-surgical procedures are performed each year.

Dr Hedén is a member of the many international and national plastic surgery societies. He also serves as a jury member, tutor, and a faculty opponent on medical students’ dissertations and a research advisor for young plastic surgeons. Dr. Hedén is regularly called on to review papers for many different international  plastic surgery journals. He is also a member of the editorial board of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal. Dr Hedén has written the patient information book: “Plastic Surgery and You” published in Swedish 1996. It has since been translated and published in English and Russian.  He has also published several book chapters in medical textbooks on the topic of breast augmentation and written close to 100 peer reviewed medical articles.

Dr Hedén has developed several new techniques applying to the use of breast implant devices and he has held a large number of international workshops and lectures on this subject. He has performed a large number of live surgery demonstrations of his techniques in many countries worldwide and he is a frequent presenter and moderator at medical congresses. Dr Hedén has also been a lecturer at medical education programs, participated in clinical studies on breast surgery and has been hosting education events at Akademikliniken, where he shares his knowledge on aesthetic breast surgery with plastic surgeons from numerous countries. Dr Hedén has also been the organizer and president of the international plastic surgery conference “Beauty Trough Science” held each year in Stockholm. This conference is now the largest aesthetic medical conference in northern  Europe,. In 2017 it was attended by close to 1000 participants from 60 countries.
Dr Hedén was also one of the first plastic surgeons in the world to use of Botulinum toxin and Hyaluronic acid fillers. He was part of introducing the first non-animal based HA in 1996 and has since acted as a key opinion leader for different companies in this field. Dr Hedénis well known for his non-surgical facial rejuvenation techniques and he has extensively demonstrated and lectured about around the world.

Dr Nicolas Leymarie is a Plastic Surgeon, Senior Consultant at Gustave Roussy Hospital, one of the main comprehensive cancer centres in France. He graduated from Paris Diderot University. Dr Nicolas Leymarie is specialised in prosthetic and autologous breast reconstruction, microsurgery and oncoplastic surgery. He is a member of the French Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (SoFCPRE) and educational coordinator for the « International master’s degree of reconstructive microsurgery » (MRM) and for the « European master’s degree in surgical oncology, reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery » (MRBS). Patrick Mallucci graduated in 1989 from medical school to embark upon his surgical training. In 1993 he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Having completed his general surgery, he undertook his training in Plastic Surgery both in the UK and abroad – London, Oxford, Stoke Mandeville, Australia and Paris.

In 1996 he was awarded the higher post graduate degree of Doctorate in Medicine (MD) having spent two years at University College London developing the concept of scarless wound healing. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, FRCS(Plast) in 1998.

Dr. Marujo earned his Medical Degree in 1981 from the University of São Paulo Medical School. His academic life was marked, from the beginning, by a strong interest and a relentless focus on everything related to structure, forms and shapes that evolved, in the last years of his medical education, into a passionate quest for surgical acumen and clinical excellence.

In the two years that followed his graduation he immersed himself in the Residency Program in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Ribeirão Preto. After completing his Residency training, he was already recognized by his peers as having an unusually sharp sense of aesthetic and an attention to detail and a surgical ability that already set him out of the ordinary and led to a very natural choice for Plastic Surgery.

Prof Jaume Masia is currently Full Professor and Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Sant Pau Hospital – Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.

He received his Medical Degree at Barcelona University, and his PhD at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Prof Masia did the Plastic Surgery training at Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona. He completed his training doing fellowships in Canniesburn Hospital (Glasgow) and in Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead).

In 1999, he introduced DIEP flaps for breast reconstruction in Spain. He got a post as plastic surgery consultant at Sant Pau University Hospital in 2001. Prof. Masia was President of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery (SECPRE) in 2011-13 and President of Plastic Surgery Foundation for Education in 2014-15. Dr. Evan Matros completed his surgical training in the Harvard Medical School system followed by a microsurgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he is currently a staff member. He is an associate professor of surgery and the microsurgery fellowship program director. He holds multiple advanced research degrees with a research focus on health services and quality of life. Dr. Alexandre Mendonça Munhoz is a Professor of Plastic Surgery, at University of São Paulo School of Medicine in São Paolo (Brazil) and a full member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP). He served as a Preceptor of the Department of Plastic Surgery (1999-2000) and defended theses, master’s degree (2004) and doctorate (2006) from University of São Paulo, in the field of breast surgery. Surgery at Kassel, Germany.
After studying in Marburg and Lübeck, He did a residency in general surgery and completed his plastic
surgery training in Hannover and Aachen university. In 1993-1995 he mastered a microsurgical fellowship
in Norfolk, Virginia USA. His PH.D work was about end to side neurorrhaphy which made him a Professor

Miss Rieka Taghizadeh is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Liverpool UK. She
specialises in Microvascular Breast Reconstruction and in particular high BMI patients and those requiring
corrective salvage surgery. Her plastic surgery specialisation was undertaken in the North East of England
followed by a microsurgery fellowship in London and visiting fellowships to Barcelona, Dusseldorf and
Helsinki. Active research includes optimisation of microsurgical breast reconstruction in high BMI patients
as well as treatment of DIEP flaps with post mastectomy radiotherapy.
She is a member of BAPRAS and BAAPS and is the clinical lead for breast reconstruction within her
hospital trust. She has taken part in a number of television documentaries and news coverage with BBC to
raise awareness about Breast Cancer and Reconstruction in particular in the developing world.
